Dr Janet Holder MBBS, FRCP is a fully
accredited Consultant Dermatologist on the
specialist register of the General Medical Council. Her National Health Service appointment is with the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust.
Dr Holder’s private practice is at the Nuffield and Elland Hospitals as well as the Bridge House Clinic.
Dr Holder graduated from the University of the West Indies in 1985. Her dermatology training commenced in 1991 when she obtained a diploma in Dermatology with distinction from the University of London and she subsequently trained at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the Leicester Royal Infirmary, the Walsgrave hospital in Coventry and the Royal London Hospital. She her first consultant appointment was with the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 1998 prior to relocating to West Yorkshire in 2003.
Her practice and interests include general dermatology, dermatology in ethnic skin, acne vulgaris and optimising skin care.
Membership of Associations includes British Association of Dermatology, British Dermatology Cosmetic Group, Royal College of Physicians, Royal Society of Medicine and the Caribbean Dermatology Association.
